Old Wykehamists

Old Wykehamists, usually referred to simply as Wykehamists, are former pupils of Winchester College, so called in memory of the school’s founder, William Of Wykeham, Bishop of Winchester and Lord Chancellor of England. He used the wealth these positions gave him to establish both the school and a university college, New College, Oxford, in 1382. I am a Wykehamist and these are just a few of my favourite heroes and antiheroes among the many the school has produced over the centuries. Click on the portraits to read more.
